November PTO Meeting - POSTPONED

The PTO Meeting scheduled for November 15th has been
postponed until Tuesday, November 29th at 6:30PM.

Costume Day - Weds, Nov 2nd

Please be advised that Mr. Osborne will allow the kids to come dressed in costumes to school on Weds, Nov 2nd.

School Update - October 31st

Early Dismissal Due to no heat and electricity. Preschool and Kindergarten will be dismissed 11:35 AM. Preschool and Kindergarten PM classes are CANCELLED. Grades 1-5 will be dismissed at 1:10 pm.  Regrettably  due to the above the Halloween Parade that was scheduled at 2:10 PM today is cancelled.

Save the date: Lynn Crest Grandparent's event

Save the date! Lynn Crest will be hosting a Grandparent's event this winter! This will be a fun event for grandparents, special seniors, and the children! Save the date: Thurs Feb 9th at 6:30pm. Hope to see you there!

My Coke Rewards for Schools program

Our school has joined the My Coke Rewards for Schools program. That means by drinking the Coca-Cola products your family already enjoys, you can get My Coke Rewards points and donate them to our school. Watch for the flyer in the backpacks and sign up now!

Show your Lynn Crest school spirit each month on the 22nd by wearing school apparel.  Orders now being taken.  All orders due back NO LATER than October 18th.

 

Lynn Crest Beautification Walkathon

The Lynn Crest Beautification Walkathon is 10/6. The
walkathon will start at 9:30am. Please don't forget to have
your children wear their Lynn Crest Shirts, Sneakers or
Comfortable Shoes and pack an extra water bottle. Should

Charity Raffle

Lynn Crest PTO is partnering with Mayor McCormac's Community
and Charity Fund's Woodbridge Center Shopping Spree Raffle.

Each raffle ticket cost $5 ($4 of each raffle ticket goes
directly back to Lynn Crest PTO)

We will be selling books of 10, 5 or individual tickets.
All books/tickets must be paid for in advance.

The last day for ticket sales will be November 29th.

Fall Walk-a-thon

Dear Lynn Crest Families,

Our annual fall walkathon will take place on Thursday,
October 6th (with a rain date of October 7th). The students
and faculty will be walking around the building for ½ hour
to raise funds for the beautification of Lynn Crest School
grounds. Our school grounds are in need of a major sprucing
up.

Please show your support by pledging monetary amounts.
Every little bit helps. Ask your neighbors, family members,
coworkers to consider sponsoring the walk as well.

We at Lynn Crest School know the importance of learning
math, reading, writing, etc. We also know the importance of
taking pride in our school, so here is the perfect
opportunity to help spruce up our school grounds.

Please pledge what you can.

Look for the pledge form in your child's backpack and return
it with your donations by October 6th. Make the envelope
out to the attention of Fall Walkathon.

Lynn Crest Community Playground Now Open!

On September 22nd , at Lynn Crest School #22 a ribbon
cutting ceremony was held to dedicate the new Lynn Crest
Community Playground. The ceremony was attended by Mayor
McCormac, Councilwoman Brenda Velasco, members of the Board
of Education, Principal Mr. Osborne, parents and students.

The Lynn Crest Community playground is now open and looks
great. The playground can be used by all the children in
our community and will be accessible all year round.

Lynn Crest and the surrounding community would like to thank
the committee's dedication and hard work in getting this
much needed playground for our children. Thank you Dawn
Genoni, Patty Rodrigues, Debbi McCormick, Sherri Feliciano
and Brenda Salcedo.

The committee would personally like to thank the Mayor,
Board of Education and the Parks and Recreation Department
for their involvement in making this playground possible.

Community Playground's Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Community Playground's Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. Mayor John
McCormac will be there to commence the ceremony.

Back to School

Welcome back Lynn Crest faculty, parents and students. We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our newly built community playground. Throughout the school year, the PTO has many fun and exciting assemblies planned for our students. We also are welcoming our new President Lorena Perez, Vice-President Heather Hughes and returning are Secretary Sherry Brown and Treasurer Tina DaSilva. The Lynn Crest PTO would like to thank our outgoing President Kim Fasulo and Vice-President Sharon Miller for all of their dedication and hard work.
