Food Pantry



The Lynn Crest PTO would like to thank everyone for their generosity in donating to the food pantry over the winter holidays.  We collected over 500 pieces of non-perishable/personal care items. 

However, even with all of our donations the pantry still needs our help.   We have left the donation boxes in the classrooms and are asking parents to continue the spirit of giving.  Items needed are below, listed by class.


Preschool:                  Toothpaste
Kindergarten:             Soap
First Grade:                Peanut Butter or Jelly
Second Grade:            Pasta or Sauce
Third Grade:               Canned Vegetables or Soup
Fourth Grade:             Cereal or Powdered Milk
Fifth Grade:                Canned meat or canned pasta (chef boyardee)



Collection of items will begin on Monday, February 11, 2013 and end on Friday, March 8, 2013.  This collection is for the upcoming spring holidays.    The PTO is going to give a popcorn party to the class that collects the most items. 

We will have a 3rd collection at the end of the school year.

If you can continue the practice of buying the above items in your shopping habits, Lynn Crest can have an amazing impact on our community.
